I may have a need to shoot some footage of a single talent on white cyc. He's in Santa Barbara, and I'm trying to find a good place in the area. Anyone worked at Rose Lane? They look like they offer what I need, but also seem to be heavily focused on the audio side of the house.

Just need a sound stage with a sharp crew.

I can't comment on the studio, but I had to laugh at their estimated 45 min drive time from LA to SB!

From the website:

...many have described Rose Lane’s Studio A and Studio B to be “the most acoustically accurate control rooms in the world to date.”

Having just spent a weekend at Bernie Grundman's listening to his AMAZING monitoring, I would call that a pretty bold claim.  Also they have rubber floors in the live rooms--I haven't seen/heard that before.  Might have to go give it a listen.

I wonder if the claims about the control rooms' "acoustic accuracy" and the claims about the drive time from LA to SB have similar relationships with the truth?
