Agreed. Would be fun to play with though.
Perhaps in 100 years all keyboards will look like this.
My baby girl is in NY doing writing sessions and her Lyft driver yesterday was Mr. Lippens.
Strange days.

It's easier for me to grasp if I think of it as a five-string fretboard with strings tuned in half steps. The chromatic scale steps up diagonally!

At first glance this makes my brain hurt, though. Sort of like trying to learn the hammered dulcimer.
