Who, me? ;) I am actually more interested in two of the ACM-70s. But if anybody wants to do the 14 for $1000, I wouldn't want to interfere in that :)

I'll be clearer: yes please, can I buy two of the ACM-70s? (also, is there another Chris or were you thinking I ought to have a pair of ACM-200s, and if so, why those?)

The reason I'm into the ACM-70s is, I still have API pres, and I'm looking to use them for drum mics. Clean gain totally wouldn't be a problem and though I have phantom power on tap I'd rather use the API as the gain elements, rather than powering budget chips/transistors in the mic just to get more gain I won't need to use in that situation :)

Chance, not looking for any more mics, but do you happen to still have any replacement ribbons, specifically for the ACM-3? Mine are both still in working order but it would be nice to have spares and/or have ribbons that are less saggy.

Hey Chance,
I bought a couple of items in the group buy way back. Among the items was a pair of the ACM 200 ribbons. One of them had a bum set of threads that wouldn't fit on the accompanying shockmount. Still have 'em. I wound up modifying the pair and removing the output amplifier since they distorted on any loud sources.

Anyway, would be interested in a pair of the ACM-70s
You want I should send a PM?

I have sent a PM, am wondering if there's something I don't know. No response because there's maybe someone who could buy the full set for the $1000?

I see why you'd want to do that, but am still interested in a pair of the ACM-70s all the same, if that's okay :)

Not a problem, I'm not going anywhere. If we can't work that part out maybe I'll call you :)
